Three cut gemstones on dark blue velvet

Precious stones

Tanzanite, cut and certified, sold one stone at a time. Each comes with its own passport: weight in carats, cut, colour grade and a laboratory certificate. Delivered within 30 days.

What tanzanite is

A blue-violet stone found in a single place on Earth.

Tanzanite is the blue-violet variety of the mineral zoisite. It is mined in one deposit only, the Merelani Hills at the foot of Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, and nowhere else. Its colour shifts between blue and violet with the angle of light, which is why cutting it well takes patience.

The club offers cut stones typically between 2 and 15 carats, in emerald, cushion, round, oval and pear cuts, and in colour grades from AA to AAA vivid. Every stone is a single, numbered piece; when it is sold, it is gone from the list.

Every stone has a passport

The passport is what you buy against, and what you check the stone against when it arrives.

A stone is a thing you own and enjoy, not a financial product. Aurelis does not describe stones as an investment, does not forecast their price and does not compare them with gold or with markets.

Delivery

From stock held in the European Union, within 30 days of your order.

  1. Choose a stone

From the current list, with the passport of each stone open next to it.

  2. Confirm and pay the seller

The price on the list is the price you pay. Payment goes directly to the seller; the club does not hold your money.

  3. Insured delivery within 30 days

The stone travels insured, with the certificate and the passport, to the address you give.

  4. Check it against the passport

Weight, dimensions and certificate number should match. If anything does not, tell us and the seller within 14 days.

What if I change my mind

You may withdraw within 14 days of receiving the stone, without giving a reason. Return it in its original state with the certificate and the seller refunds the price. The club does not shorten this right in any way.

Stones are not a means of payment and the club does not take part in any exchange of stones between members. Questions: membership@aurelisclub.com.

Who sells

Stones are sold by a Czech company stated on every quote and on the invoice, together with its company ID. [Seller details to be added before launch.]

What the club does

Aurelis curates the list, insists on the passport for every stone and keeps the conditions in plain language. It does not advise, and the decision to buy remains entirely yours.

Questions about stones

Why tanzanite?

Because it is rare in a verifiable way: one deposit in the world, and every stone the club offers is cut, numbered and, from about 2 carats, certified by an independent laboratory.

Is the certificate independent?

Yes. DSEF (German Gemmological Laboratory) and GIA (Gemological Institute of America) are independent of the seller and of the club.

Will the stone's price go up?

Nobody can tell you that honestly, and the club will not try. Coloured stones have no market quote. Buy a stone because you want to own it.

Can I return it?

Within 14 days of receipt, without giving a reason, in its original state and with the certificate.

Can I have the stone set in jewellery?

Yes, with any goldsmith of your choice. Keep the certificate; it belongs to the stone, not to the setting.
